SAVAR began not as a brand, but as a belief.
We are two working professionals who, through our work on the ground with last-mile communities, witnessed how access—or the lack of it—shapes lives. Over the years, we worked closely with families and children, especially around one fundamental right that often gets compromised early: education.
Our commitment was simple yet firm to support children’s education, not just till enrollment, but till graduation. Because education should not end halfway.
What started alongside our professional journeys as a side hustle, experimenting with handblock-printed cotton clothing, slowly grew into something larger. We realised that the same communities we worked with carried generations of craft, skill, and knowledge. Handblock printing, done patiently on the finest cotton, was one such expression.
SAVAR was born at this intersection of purpose and product.
We work with handblock prints because they are honest, human, and imperfect in the most beautiful way. We choose cotton because it is breathable, durable, and made for everyday life. And we price our clothing reasonably because good design and good fabric should not be inaccessible.
Today, SAVAR is no longer a side project. It is a full-time commitment—to craft, to comfort, and to community. Every piece you wear carries not just a print, but a story of dignity, livelihood, and continuity.
SAVAR stands for everyday clothing with intention.
Minimal in design. Edgy in spirit.
Rooted in people. Built to last.
